Eloise grew up in Canberra, and was unwaiveringly passionate about becoming a Veterinarian from a very young age.   After finishing school she moved up to Brisbane where she completed a Bachelor of Science (Zoology, Psychology) at the University of Queensland in 1999.  She then moved to Sydney in 2000 where she studied Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney, graduating with first class honours in 2004.

With a love of warm weather, horses and the outdoors, she moved back to Queensland after graduation where she completed an internship at an equine referral hospital in Brisbane. Despite her love of horses, she decided to start working in small animal practice in 2006 and has never looked back!  She worked in practices on the Gold Coast ranging from a large, very busy hospital to a two-vet clinic until the end of 2012.

Across the past 5 years, she has travelled to Europe several times including living abroad in Spain for 6 months in 2013 . She has a soft spot for European culture and history and loves to travel overseas and explore whenever the opporunity arises.

After returning to Australia mid 2013, she decided to move back to Canberra and started at Gungahlin Veterinary Hospital in July.  Eloise's major interests are animal behaviour,  feline medicine, and soft tissue surgery.  She has completed two distance education courses through the Centre for Veterinary Education at the University of Sydney:  Feline Medicine (2008) and Behavioural Medicine (2012).   At GVH, Eloise conducts tailored behavioural consultations, designed to provide behavioural solutions for dog and cats.

Having always had an interest in media and education, Eloise started with the Capital Radio Network in 2014, as a radio presenter.  She hosts a weekly show called "Pet Tales" on 2CC on Sunday mornings.

When it comes to hobbies, Zumba Fitness is second to none!  Closely followed by scuba diving and just about anything outdoors including hiking, skiing or simply walking her dog.  She is a passionate Zumba Fitness instructor and grooves to the Latin beats as often as time permits each week.

She also has her own fur babies; 2 handraised cats (Ronin & Campbell) and one very handsome German Shepherd named Kahn.
